Dr. David Brown was born and raised in Roswell, NM. He earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology from Texas Tech University. He later attended The University of Missouri-Kansas City dental school where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his final years at UMKC, Dr. Brown was an Endodontic Honor student where he performed many complex Root Canal procedures. Today in the practice, Dr. Brown still preforms many root canal procedures as well as being trained in complex implant placement, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and extractions of impacted teeth.

Dr. Brown has also been trained in full mouth reconstruction to accommodate aesthetic needs through full mouth crown and veneer cases, as well as help those with occlusion discrepancies through complete oral rehabilitation.

Dr. Brown’s wife, Kacy, is also from the Roswell area. They have three children: a daughter Landry, and sons Drake and Ridge. He has many hobbies other than his clinical practice. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling. Dr. Brown is a volunteer at the United Way and appreciates the opportunity to give back. He and his wife are glad to be back in their hometown to raise their family and bring gentle, affordable, state of the art dentistry to Roswell and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Paul joined Maupin and Brown in August, 2015 and is so glad to be a part of a great practice. He previously worked in Carlsbad and Hobbs. For Craig, dentistry is a second career. He earned his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2010 at the age of 40. Prior to dentistry Craig spent 15 years as a minister and teacher, and as his wife says, “a professional student.” What attracted Craig to a career in dentistry was his personal esteem for education along with the prospect of serving and engaging people in a more practical, immediate, tangible, and specialized manner. Craig continues to appreciate these qualities in dentistry, along with the skill and the art of it, but he most enjoys the very genuine, caring, and personal interaction he has with each of his patients. Craig’s wife Laura also came to dentistry later, after careers in nursing and education, and now works alongside him as a dental hygienist. They very much enjoy working together. Craig and Laura have 3 grown children; Hannah, Nathan and Jordan. Craig and Laura live in Roswell, NM, and enjoy traveling, hiking, relaxing in the scenery, and walking their two dogs. Craig also enjoys backpacking and skiing with his kids, as well as spending time writing

Dr. Tim Price grew up in Brigham City, UT. After high school he attended Utah State University where he ran track and earned a degree in Environmental Health. He then earned his Masters Degree in Public Health at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He later attended The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After Dental School he continued his education at UMKC by attending an Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

Dr. Price and his wife, Kendra, have five children- four girls and one boy. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, hunting and competitive shooting.

Dr. Hannah Paul is a dedicated and compassionate dental professional who earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Her journey in the field of dentistry began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Conservation Biology, from the University of New Mexico.

Inspired by her father, Dr. Craig Paul, whom she observed throughout high school, Dr. Hannah Paul developed a deep appreciation for the personal connections he established with his patients and the genuine care he provided. Witnessing the positive impact, he had on his community ignited her passion for dentistry and her desire to offer the same level of care.

Dr. Hannah Paul is thrilled to return to Roswell, where she will be joining Dr. Craig Paul at Maupin and Brown. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside her father, continuing the family legacy of exceptional dental care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hannah Paul has a passion for nature and the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing, and snowboarding, often accompanied by her loyal adventure buddy, her dog Juni.
